Trustify – The Fat Lady Sings

It ain't over until the fat lady sings. In the case of Trustify, the fat lady sings. She's singing loud and clear. With the Danny Boice, Jen Mellon nuptials (look it up in the dictionary, pretend Harvard boy Boice) in shambles, the company being sued by a long line of creditors so long that many people are asking the courts to start a Disney World Fastpass-like service. As I reported earlier in the week, Boice is contacting anyone with an email address and asking if they want to buy $1 million of his personal worthless shares in a worthless company for $1.50 per share. Basically he's asking, "who wants to buy -$5.00 shares for $1.50. Nobody...

Zombie Founder Danny Boice, dead man walking

The problem with Zombie's like Danny Boice is they don't know they're dead. Danny Boice, dead man walking. Danny's soon to be ex-wife and ex-retroactive Trustify founder Jen Mellon has left the building. This week her LinkedIn status went from presently employed at Trustify to ended employment in 2018. On LinkedIn for married co-founders of a dumpster fire, this is the Facebook relationship status equivalent of "it's complicated." In addition, according to a comment below, Ms. Mellon has removed every picture of her husband, Danny Boice from her facebook page. It appears she is trying to distance herself from the legal jeopardy of being a principal in a fraudelent enterprise. Call this phone number...

Open Letter To The Washingtonian Magazine

The December issue of the Washingtonian features a story titled “Meet Mr. Cranky.” While the story appears balanced, it is less than fair. The article ignores the groundwork and research that goes into my posts. For example with regards to Danny Boice and Trustify, I have interviewed well over 30 people including, former employees, former current employees, relatives of traumatized former employees, vendors, co-workers, partners, startup executives who shared office space with him in two separate accelerators and family members. These interviews cover Mr. Boice's employment with Trustify, Speek, and The College Board. The Washingtonian ignores the fact that I have 40 years of experience and training which includes years as a turn-around CEO employed by private equity investors to clean up messes created by irresponsible CEOs like Mr. Boice. The article ignores that I served as the President of a leading Proxy Advisory Firm, consulting to Institutional Investors on corporate governance matters regarding their publically traded portfolio companies. The article does not mention the fact that I have over a decade of formal training and experience as an executive coach, or that I am certified in personality and behavioral assessments. The article implies that I don't have the qualifications to assemble and analyze facts in...
