Dynami Sweat-Equity Position Available in Battery Startup

Argentina is a major source of Lithium used in Lithium batteries. As a result, Argentina is rich in battery technologists and innovation. Dynami is a startup that is looking for an US-based executive with industry business expertise to join the team and help build the company. This is an effort for equity, non-salary position to start. The exact role and title are negotiable based on skill, ability, experience and ranges anywhere from toilet cleaner to CEO. I have no professional, personal, nor equity relationship with the company except to have talked to the founder and one of his advisors, a professor at the University of Maryland Dynami Executive Summary Thin and flexible medical devices, internet of things and wearables devices are now designed to accommodate off the shelf rigid batteries.  Dynami ultra-thin lithium battery technology enables batteries tailored to the product design instead of the product designed for the batteries.  Dynami leverages the regional availability of lithium, research, and engineering resources to create proprietary battery technology and production processes for our clients. Problem: In an exponentially growing market of thin and flexible medical devices, internet of things (IoT) and wearables, those devices need custom battery solutions. Prismatic, volumetric, rigid batteries do not physically fit. Solution: Dynami’s...

Facebook Cry Babies

Ohhhhhh no! Facebook has too much psychographic information on me! How did they do that? I mean how did they get everything I gave them? Are you trying to tell me they're monetizing my data? I thought Facebook was a tax-supported, NGO, like the public library. I had no idea they had a business to run. I never thought that when I liked a post bashing my useless Congresswoman, Barbara Comstock, on Facebook that Facebook would know I did that and track that I hate people who hide from their constituents, are owned by the NRA, and support corporate interests over human interests. I thought when I post about her, that was a secret between Babs and me! Now, I come to find out Facebook knew I am angry with Barbara? Even though I typed all that stuff in lowercase which everyone knows is the same as whispering. Are you saying that if I don't pay for it, I'm the product, not the customer? Shit! Does that mean I'm the product of air? Do I need to opt out of free oxygen? Not because it's getting more polluted each day but does air have data on my nostrils and my lungs? Stop friggin whining! Shame...

Consumer Electronics Show 2018 – Joshua Konowe Guest Correspondent

A few years, in 2014, one of my favorite commentators or commenters of cronies or whatever, who calls himself Skippy went to CES and agreed to share his impressions (see here). Today, Joshua reports from his latest experience at the show. It's definitely the place to try something new. Lots of spaghetti throwing, like the attached first screenshot I'm calling marketing message No. 347, or as a good friend put it, "random meta observations". This was from one of the big 3 car companies.  The second photo was Samsung's 2-story VR booth. The booth had VR skiing competitions and several immersive swivel chairs that maneuvered 360 degrees in all directions, especially upside down. So much confusion generally between AR and VR and the need to showcase why one is better than the other. Even what seems to be clearly defined already is not to the rest of the world. Lots of plugged in vehicles of all kinds. The first one is a foldable electric moped from Luxembourg and the next picture is a Chinese company trying to be Tesla-like. 50% of all the software and hardware products at the show are paring or trying to pair with Amazon's Alexa and Google Home. Apple may have lost this battle somehow. TBD. Very...

Innovation Lately… Not Likely

Innovation? Not Likely. Not Lately. Not Where It Use to Be We use to count on Software Startups to drive the innovation engine. Yet real Light bulb ideas,  that kind of big thinking that created Light Bulbs. Steam Engines, Internal Combustion Engines, Telephone, Radio, Television, Micro-wave Popcorn, are currently overshadowed by evolutionators dressed in innovators clothing. There use to be a steady pace of real innovation coming from startups and inventors. Now we have things like...
